Wow! What a little gem. Visited this delightful cafe when taking our dog to the animal hospital in Shrewsbury. I had a latte, stack of pancakes with mascarpone, fruit and crispy bacon. In honesty the bacon was a little crispy for me but the smoky, salty flavour juxtaposed the sweet fruit and fluffy pancakes. The coffee was smooth and rich in flavour, no bitter after notes. My partner had one of the many iced teas made fresh to order and she was not disappointed either. We had a lovely seat in the window and could admire the Tudor architecture and busy street. The interior was nicely decorated, restroom was clean and the host was a wonderful lady who we felt took genuine interest in us. She offered her patrons a cheery hello and goodbye and the rest of her team were friendly and inviting. We did not feel rushed during our visit and only wish we lived closer so we can enjoy this lovely cafe again. It may seem a little cramped at first when you walk in but seating is comfortable and this cosy cafe must not be missed on your trip into Shrewsbury. We spent approx. £13 per person for the food and drink.

Looking for a Costa alternative on a Saturday afternoon, we chose this coffee shop on Wyle Cop. The fact that it was open till 5pm and not just 4pm was definitely a big draw! We ordered soft drinks and cakes, with the barista telling us we could sit and they would be delivered to our table. The cafe has a lovely vibe, with natural wood table tops, big colourful wall murals and cakes served in ramekins The cakes arrived promptly with our drinks and we spent a good hour chilling out under the skylight at the back of the venue. As a GF customer, I was impressed with a choice of about 5 different desserts, from a cheesecake through to polenta or peanut butter brownies!

Our favourite in town, pop in most weekends for a coffee or brunch and never been disappointed by the food or the service. Extremely dog friendly and always welcomed with a bag of treats. Food is amazing - definitely recommend the Shakshuka, and cinnamon buns if you get there in time before they sell out!

Got the mushroom and truffle Benedict special, it was absolutely WONDERFUL. Perfect size for something not too heavy but still filling. Also got the strawberry matcha with oat milk and it tastes like proper matcha, kinda rare to come across these days. Decently fast service for every table being full and the staff were all really kind. Only thing I’d change is adding prices to the menu board for the specials. Had to guess but the two items in total were £15- so not bad!

Some of The best coffee in Shrewsbury. I’m not joking, it’s amazing. I have always had great pastries here (big shout out to an almond croissant that I had today that changed my life) but also a really lovely place to sit and eat- the staff are always really lovely and friendly as well!

What an amazing coffee shop serving excellent coffee and incredible lunches and breakfasts, great cakes too. Staff were so very pleasant and welcoming. As a visitor to the town we didn’t feel the need to venture to any other eatery. We highly recommend this to anyone, dogs welcome too. Fist class Mondi
